Chion charges $29 per seat per month on Starter and meters the work in monthly credits, so the plan you pick is a volume decision. Problem. Analytics pricing is hard to compare when the assistant, the seat, and the platform capacity underneath it are billed as separate units. What Chion does. Chion bills per seat on Starter, Pro, and Max, or per team on Enterprise. There is one unit to compare, and the same skill compiler ships on every tier.

Every plan includes the same skill compiler. Queries a person on your team reviews and saves are compiled, with their supporting context, into a per-role read-only SQL agent. Starter fits an analyst getting started; Pro an analyst who queries all day; Max a high-volume seat; Enterprise rolls out per team across your org, with custom models on request. The pipeline is the same; the volume scales.
Every plan is read-only. You pay for volume.
The billing unit is the seat or the team. A higher plan raises the monthly allotment; the validators do not change.
Starter, Pro, and Max are per-seat plans: $29, $99, and $299 a month. Need to cover a whole team or org instead of buying seats one by one? Enterprise is a per-team plan, custom-quoted. Either way there is no per-question charge, and an upgrade prorates the difference to the current cycle.
Schema questions cost no credits on any plan.

Every paid plan includes a monthly usage allotment: Starter 50, Pro 250, Max 750. If your team needs more volume, you can top up with credit packs or move to a higher plan. We do not show per-request pricing because usage depends on the work Chion performs, not a flat per-question fee.

Monthly reset, instant upgrades, Stripe-powered.
Monthly reset. Your plan's credits reset on the same day each month. If you subscribed on the 15th, your counter resets on the 15th. Unused monthly credits don't roll over, but credit packs do, and never expire.
Upgrades and downgrades. Upgrade anytime: the price difference prorates to the current billing cycle, and new credits are available instantly. Downgrades take effect at the next cycle, so you keep what you've paid for.
Payment and refunds. We use Stripe for all payments. Cancel from the billing page in one click. No email, no retention call. Fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law, so use the 7-day trial to run Chion on your own schema before you are charged.
What we never charge for. Always included at no extra cost: schema questions, saved-chart reloads, and validator repair retries.
